These terms cover your use of Underlayer, operated by the person identified in our privacy notice. By creating an account or using Underlayer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service does
Underlayer lets you connect Gmail and choose which actions a connected ChatGPT agent can perform. It checks requests made through Underlayer against your permissions. It does not control access you grant through other services or guarantee that an AI agent’s output is correct.
Your account and permissions
Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Keep your sign-in account secure and choose permissions carefully. You are responsible for the instructions and access you give your agent. If you enable sending, it can send eligible drafts using that permission; Underlayer does not require a separate approval for each send.
Acceptable use
Do not use Underlayer for unlawful access, spam, harassment or infringement of other people’s rights. Do not bypass access controls or interfere with the service. You must also follow the terms of the connected services. You keep your rights to your content; you authorize us to process it as needed to provide the actions you request.
Availability and changes
Underlayer is an early service. Features may change and service may be interrupted, including when a connected provider is unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Leaving Underlayer
You can stop using the service, revoke access or delete your account. Read the deletion instructions for what is removed and what remains with connected providers. Our privacy notice explains data handling.
